How to use this tool

Cells beginning with formula-like characters are prefixed with an apostrophe to reduce spreadsheet formula injection.

    About this tool

Convert an array of objects into spreadsheet-friendly CSV.

Cells beginning with formula-like characters are prefixed with an apostrophe to reduce spreadsheet formula injection.

    Method and example

Enter a nonempty array of objects. The export creates a column for each distinct property, quotes cells and doubles embedded quotation marks. Nested objects become JSON text inside a cell.

[{"name":"Ada","score":8},{"name":"Lin","score":9}] produces name and score columns with two data rows. A property missing from a row becomes an empty cell.

    Before you use the result

    • Flatten nested structures yourself when you need separate spreadsheet columns.
    • Formula-like cell prefixes receive an apostrophe as a precaution. Check identifiers, leading zeros and dates when opening the CSV in a spreadsheet.

    Worked example

    JSON array of objects
    [{"name":"Aisha","score":95},{"name":"Ali","score":88}]

    Result for this example

    "name","score"
    "Aisha","95"
    "Ali","88"
