Method and example
Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP source and select the required output format. The browser decodes the source and creates a new still image in the chosen format.
A transparent logo exported as JPEG gets a white background. PNG or supported WebP is a more suitable choice when that transparency must remain.
Before you use the result
- Changing the filename extension alone is not a format conversion. Download the file generated by the tool.
- Animated images become a still image. Metadata, original compression and color-profile behavior may change during browser encoding.
