Tool inputs and selected files

The tools in this directory process text, numbers, images and documents in your browser. The tool code does not upload those inputs or results to our server. Most tool inputs are not stored in local storage. The Semester dashboard is an exception: when you save subjects, classes, deadlines or semester details, it stores those records only in this browser for you to revisit. Closing or resetting a workspace clears its current result, except for records you have saved in the Semester dashboard. Document and OCR engines, fonts and language models load from this same site; language models may be cached in browser storage for reuse. If you choose Take photo, the browser may ask for camera access. No audio is requested. The camera stops after capture, when the camera dialog closes or when you leave the page. Camera photos use the same local processing as selected files. Downloaded files are saved on your device.

Browser preferences

Saved tools and a short list of recently opened tool IDs use local storage. These preferences contain tool identifiers, not your tool inputs. Separately, the Semester dashboard stores the details you choose to save, using the browser storage key byteguide.semester.v1. It does not sync data between devices or send notifications. Use Clear preferences in the footer to remove them, or clear this site's browser data. To delete saved semester records, use Clear dashboard inside the dashboard; download a backup first if needed.

Hosting and site services

Visiting a WordPress website sends normal web requests to its hosting provider. Server and security logs may contain technical information such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time. WordPress, security, consent, analytics or advertising services configured separately by the site owner may process additional data or set cookies. A tool's local processing does not prevent normal website logging. Follow any consent choices displayed by the site.

Contact messages

If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to the website administrator to respond to you. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive files. Messages may be retained in the administrator's email service.

Google advertising and your choices

AdSense approval is not claimed. Google advertising has not been activated by this tools release. Before Google ads are enabled, the site owner must configure the applicable consent controls and update this notice to match the services actually in use. Where Google advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize ads. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and manage advertising preferences through My Ad Center. Consent requirements vary by visitor location. This statement is a disclosure of the planned advertising use, not a substitute for an operating consent mechanism.

External websites have their own privacy practices. Site hosting, security and independently installed WordPress services are separate from local tool processing. Contact the site owner through the contact form for questions about site services or personal information.
